Step-by-Step Removal

Step 1: Dry Brush the Vents and Bezel
Before introducing any liquid, take your clean makeup brush and gently sweep the top and bottom ventilation grilles. Mildew loves the warm, dusty crevices near the power supply. Step 2: Dampen the Cloth, Never the Screen

Step 5: Buff and Dry Completely
Take a second, completely dry microfiber cloth and buff the screen to remove any alcohol streaks. This also ensures no residual moisture is left behind. Alternative Methods
Sometimes you run out of rubbing alcohol, or you're dealing with a specific type of coating that reacts poorly to solvents. Here are two backup methods I've tested in my own workshop.
